HBS Club of Puget Sound is pleased to host our fellow Club member, William E Franklin, at a private dinner on Tuesday, November 10. The dinner will be held at Marlai -- an excellent Thai restaurant between University Village and Children's Hospital on 45th in Seattle, right where it turns into Sandpoint Way.
Bill Franklin was awarded Japan's Order of the Rising Sun earlier this year for strengthening the economic and political relationship between Japan and the US. Established in 1875, it is the most prestigious award given to foreigners who are not political or military leaders or royalty. You can read more about Bill Franklin and his achievements in this July 2009 Seattle Times article.
This intimate dinner for no more than 12 people affords an excellent opportunity to gain insights about business success in Japan and throughout Asia. "He has that incredible capability of moving from one culture to another and bringing us all with him," former Washington Secretary of State Ralph Munro says about Franklin.
A complete Thai Dinner, including wine, is a recession-fighting $45.
Please RSVP immediately to secure your spot at this unique event.
